Our History
Pearl of Africa Tourism & Development was founded in 2010 by a group of passionate Ugandan entrepreneurs and tourism professionals who recognized the immense potential of Uganda's tourism sector. Initially, the organization focused on promoting Uganda's national parks and wildlife reserves. Over the years, we have expanded our scope to include cultural tourism, investment promotion, and community development initiatives. In 2015, we launched the "Visit Uganda" campaign, which significantly increased tourist arrivals and generated substantial revenue for local businesses. In 2018, we established the "Uganda Investment Forum," a platform connecting investors with opportunities in various sectors, including tourism, agriculture, and infrastructure. We have worked closely with the Ugandan government, local communities, and international organizations to implement sustainable tourism and development projects that have positively impacted the lives of thousands of Ugandans.
